This article sounds a bit silly and the illustrations are quite...elementary, but the message it has for up and coming voice over artists and talent is amazing.
One thing I struggle at is speaking too fast.
Why Voice Actors can’t speak too fast
They lose the listeners’ attention
It creates a negative impression
They lose the clarity of the message
They aren’t rappers
No one likes to feel like they’re being sold an item or service
Keeping tempo and making sure not to rush the copy is key. Also keeps slurring words to a minimum (looking in the mirror).
And don't forget to engage me for your next voice over project!
